## How to play
MapTap's daily globe asks you to locate five places on a 3D Earth. The daily core game is free in a browser without an account. Complete the introductory tutorial if shown. Read the location prompt, drag to rotate the globe, zoom as needed, then tap your chosen position. Under the default controls the tap submits the guess. Watch the target reveal and running score, then follow the next prompt. After five rounds the game displays the final score and a sharing option.

Base scores are worth up to 100 per round. The daily multipliers are 1×, 1×, 2×, 3× and 3×, making 1,000 the maximum total. As a rule-based example, 80 base points in a 2× round contribute 160 points. This is an illustration, not a current result. Optional accounts support saved scores, and MapTap+ offers separate paid features.

MapTap Daily supplies five new places each day. Official practice modes have their own access rules; the separately hosted MapTap Unlimited remake is not the official daily game embedded here. Use the official home page for the current Global avg rather than assuming a permanent average score.

## Three beginner tips
1. Narrow the location from continent to country to local area before selecting a point.
2. Move the likely target toward the center of the globe and zoom before tapping; dragging rotates, while a tap submits under the default controls.
3. Read any region and country supplied in the prompt, then compare your guess with the revealed target to improve your geographic recall.
