What is Size It Up?

Size It Up turns familiar objects into a test of proportion. You resize a red silhouette beside a fixed blue reference, then commit with Lock In. The reference measurement stays hidden while you play: the task is to judge real-world scale from the objects, not calculate from a supplied number. Five daily comparisons award up to 100 points each.

Moving the red silhouette and resizing it solve different problems. Dragging its body lets you line up the shapes; the corner handle changes your estimate. If the target needs more room, zooming out opens up the board. After Lock In, the reveal separates Your Answer from Actual, shows the percentage error, and adds the round score. That makes an overestimate visible in both the silhouettes and the numbers, before Next Round moves you on.

Size It Up Rules

• Use the fixed blue silhouette as your visual reference; its measurement stays hidden during play.
• Follow the marked dimension to compare height or length.
• Drag the red silhouette to position it and drag its corner handle to resize it; mobile players can also pinch with two fingers.
• Zoom out when a larger estimate needs more room on the board.
• Press Lock In to reveal the true measurement, percentage error and round score.
• Complete five daily comparisons, each worth up to 100 points, for a maximum of 500.

1 round × 100 possible points = 100 points.

5 rounds × 100 possible points = 500 points.

How to Play Size It Up?

1. Read the dimension

• You'll see: A blue reference, a red target and labels identifying the dimension to match.
• You do: Read whether the target needs a height or length estimate and locate the dotted guide.
• The game gives: The reference remains fixed while the red silhouette is available to adjust.
• What you learn: The reference measurement is hidden; compare the objects proportionally.

2. Position and resize the target

• You'll see: The red silhouette has a corner resize handle; zoom controls sit on the board.
• You do: Drag the red shape to align the objects, then drag its corner handle to change its size. Zoom out if you need more space.
• The game gives: The target changes position or scale as you adjust it.
• What you learn: Moving the shape helps comparison; resizing sets the estimate that will be scored.

3. Lock In and inspect the reveal

• You'll see: Your adjusted silhouettes and the Lock In button.
• You do: Submit once you are satisfied, then compare Your Answer, Actual and Off by.
• The game gives: The result displays measurements, percentage error and a score out of 100; the running score updates.
• What you learn: The size and direction of your error explain the visual mismatch.

4. Continue the daily set

• You'll see: Next Round beneath the completed comparison.
• You do: Select Next Round and repeat the comparison process through round five.
• The game gives: The round counter advances through the five-comparison set.
• What you learn: Each round contributes to the same total, with 500 points available overall.

Size It Up Strategy & Tips

• Align the shapes before judging their ratio. Moving the red silhouette closer to the blue reference makes the marked dimension easier to compare.
• Follow the dotted dimension guide. A long silhouette can still be asking you to match height, so do not use its overall area as your estimate.
• Use zoom for space, not as your size answer. Zoom out when the red target reaches the edge, then adjust its corner handle.
• Read the percentage error alongside the revealed measurements. Check whether Your Answer was above or below Actual before moving to the next comparison.
