WASM Arcade and browser game ports
WASM Arcade is a browser-game collection at wasmarcade.com. If you are looking for that website, follow its link. Arcadle is an independent directory with source links and practical guides to help you start a browser port.
What does WASM mean?
WebAssembly is a portable binary format that browsers can execute. Tools such as Emscripten can compile C and C++ engines for the web. A browser port also needs graphics, input, sound and game resources; WebAssembly alone does not provide those.
Read the WebAssembly project and Emscripten documentation for the technical background.
Can you play the whole game in a tab?
It depends on the specific source. Some offer a demo or a multiplayer client. Others need files from a game you own. A familiar game name does not establish the version, available content or device support. Browser collections can also include emulators and independent recreations.
Start with a checked source
These guides record the version, loading requirements and desktop actions we checked. The game opens on its source website. Phone controls, full campaigns and saved-game persistence are not verified unless the guide explicitly says so.
